Things are getting downright ZANY at Theatre Three!

Hitch your wagon to this delightful new musical developed by local artists Christie Vela, David Goodwin and Our Endeavors Theater Collective!

Set in the early twentieth century, the madcap fun unfurls quickly transporting you to Dallas’s Elm Street at a time when the infamous thoroughfare was lined with vaudeville houses and movie theaters. Meet a hilarious troupe of vaudevillians in the late 1930s as they pass their time behind a theater awaiting their opportunity to go on stage. Known as the “disappointment” act, the troupe only goes on if another act cancels.

Does the troupe have what it takes? What is their value? What is their contribution? Exploring the art of Vaudeville and accepting the fact that time changes everything, this clever musical questions what is art…what isn’t art…and why it is necessary.
