Smell the crisp, cool air of Southern Appalachia, where pensioner Annie Nations has peacefully settled on her mountain farm. She’s busy tending to the household as she anticipates a visit from her son, Dillard, who sought fame and fortune rather than the footprints of his father, Hector. But at the approach of a reckless real estate developer who has begun uprooting the neighborhood, Annie is faced with an agonizing decision.
